Apple Universe with Leo Laporte

Hello everyone,

I just want to tell you that Leo Laporte was on Apple Universe today. Unfortunately, in the middle of the recording, my recording software, Audacity crashed and I lost 20 minutes of recording time. Fortunately, a lot of the 50 people watching the stream helped me out, and I was able to recover the episode. Leo recorded the video on Justin.tv, and I played the video, and Audacity recorded it.

I will do a voice over tonight, as I remember the questions. Thank you very much for everyone that helped…and especially Leo for joining me!

Thanks,

Daniel

Apple Universe Update 10-18-07

Hello everyone,

I am very sorry for not blogging about myself or Apple Universe for while! I have been quite busy with school, Apple news, Leopard, Apple Universe, interviews, and a bunch more!

In Apple Universe news, I am going to Kyte.tv offices to meet up with my good friend, and CEO of Kyte.tv, Daniel Graf. Daniel will be on Apple Universe, and the episode should be released soon. I am currently talking with Zimbra on getting that interview out also, because of legal issues with Yahoo. If you think of podcasting, the first person I think of is Leo Laporte. Leo is the man behind TWiT Podcast Network. I am very pleased to announce that Leo Laporte will be on Apple Universe on a date to be announced at a later time. Apple Universe is up to 64 episodes released right now, and 65 recorded.

In Apple news, Apple will be releasing Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on October 26th at 6:00PM!! I am still thinking about going to this event, and recording an episode LIVE at my local Apple Store in Burlingame, CA, but I will will keep you updated.

Thank you very much for sticking with me, and I always appreciate your support!

~Daniel

Daniel Burka on Apple Universe

Hello, and sorry for not blogging about news that you actually might care about lately. Today I released Apple Universe #64 with Daniel Burka. Here is alittle bio about Daniel from his website:

Currently I’m one of the partners at silverorange, a web development company in Prince Edward Island, Canada. I’m now also the lead designer at the news website digg.com, so I live in San Francisco. I mostly work on web interface design and usability consulting but I also dabble in other areas of design and can even be dubiously credited as a conference organizer.

Here is a link to the episode! Please check it out!
