Moving to the Mac!

As you all know, I have been a Mac fan for a while. I still do own two Windows PCs though. I have an HP Pavillion 753n and a Voodoo AMD Gaming Machine that Robert Scoble gave to me.

After talking to my parents, we have decided that there is no point having one PC in the closet, and one PC being used. So, in conclusion, we have decided that I will be moving to the PowerBook G4 full time.

I received my Apple Wireless Keyboard yesterday, and I also have a Logitech LX 7 wireless mouse, and a Gem 17″ Display, which will all be connected to the Mac to make a full set-up. My Alesis MultiMix 8 USB mixer will be connected to the Mac, and the MXL microphone will be used as my main microphone.

If you have any questions, please email me at appleuniversepodcast@gmail.com

P.S. A keyboard update will come soon!

2007 Holiday Presents!

The holiday season is winding down, and all the presents have been opened…..except for Daniel’s! Now that isn’t true, since I got to open my presents today. We will start off with the present that I got my Dad and sister. Since my sister lives in Southern California, I thought to myself, what is the best way to communicate? We talk on IM, we call each other….but I never see her. So I got my dad and sister web cams! I got the GE Easy Cam from Target – Here is a picture:

I gave my Mom a Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse  3000.  Here is a picture of the mouse:

Also, I got the new Apple Wireless Keyboard!

I have had my eye on the new keyboards ever since they were released, and I love it!

My new Mac!

In this blog post, I have two things to say.

1) Apple Universe is back!

I have been taking a little "break" from Apple Universe for school and such, but now I am back! I recorded Apple Universe Episode #70 today, and will record #71 tomorrow.

Although I am back, there is a new releasing schedule. I will record an episode on Saturday, and a episode on Sunday. I will release the Saturday recording on Monday and the Sunday episode on Thursday. This way the listeners will have something to listen for the whole week. If you have any question about this, please feel free to email me!

2) I have a new Mac!

In episode #70 of Apple Universe, I talked about my new Mac! Its a PowerBook G4 with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on it! I am very excited about this Mac, and I hope that with this, my Apple experience will be greater!

If you listen to the episode on Monday, you will know how I got it, and the specs of it.

Thank you everyone for your support and birthday wishes (yesterday was my birthday)!

Blog Changes!

My blog hasn’t seen much changes in the past few weeks. The last chnage was the great new header that I put in! I have beent talking with my friends Robert Scoble and Mike Cohen about some changes for the blog.

Robert made a great point saying that "Daniel’s Blog" isn’t very unique, and when you google it, millions of Daniel’s Blogs come up. This brought me up to change the name of my blog.

In the next few weeks, you might some changes here and there, so keep your eyes out!

Offline

Hello everyone,

I just want to say thank you for everyone who has stayed with me from the beginning, and I appreciate that. Now it is time for me to get my priorities straight. As you all know, I am a sophomore at Aragon High School. It is always in my mind that school comes first, but lately, my parents and I feel like school isn’t coming first…and podcasting and blogging is. I do agree with my parents.

That is why I am deciding to go offline for a few weeks….and try to get my priorities straight. Apple Universe and Tech Today will keep on going, and I will release all episodes of Apple Universe that I have right now. Jonno Davies, my co-host for Tech Today can handle Tech Today.

Thank you for understanding,

Daniel Brusilovsky
