Apple iPhone Firmware 1.1.1 Class-Action Suit Seeks Injuction Against Locked iPhones

“A California man has filed a class-action suit against Apple for bricking iPhones with their lastest firmware update. The lawsuit is neither the first nor the the last, but it’s unique because it looks for a permanent injunction against Apple to prevent them from selling locked iPhones.Citing the Cartwright Act, the lawyer Damian Fernández argues that “Apple prohibits iPhone consumers from using and purchasing a cell phone service other than through AT&T.” The suit also seeks damages from the bricking but, according to Alexander Wolfe’s article in Information Week, the lawyer doesn’t specify an amount in the court documents. My Desktop

The desktop that I use everyday is now at my office, and the desktop that I will get will be amazing! Robert Scoble has generously agreed to donate his AMD Gaming machine to Apple Universe. I don’t know much about it, but I know that the hard drive glows! Isn’t that awesome? So, I am just saying that I might not have a computer at home for a couple of days, or at least 1 week, but I will have a sweet desktop!

Rumor: Microsoft to Debut Zune 2 Today!

Microsoft will hold a event Today in Redmond to herald the second generation of Zune music players, BetaNews has learned.

According to sources close to the situation, both Microsoft chairman Bill Gates and Design and Development chief J Allard will be on hand for the event. The main part of the announcement will center around the players, which will include the first flash memory based Zunes.
