Sui -- you bring up some great points. Fact is, its a simple, easy to use system, that I am really looking forward to using.

Andrew -- I have to admit, Senduit's web site is very very simple and clean. There needs to be a service out there that will do something different with online file sharing...

Speaking of simplicity... have you seen http://senduit.com/ ?? I wonder what their security is though... You can choose when the file is deleted, even as early as 30 minutes.

Senditome seems okay, but there is already a bunch of these services. Maybe they will do something different? We'll see.

I think you're both overlooking the real reason(s) to use the site...none of those gay wait times, no ads (yet), no passwords to remember, no logging in and out, ability to send LARGE files, no pop-ups...need I keep going?

It's a great site to bookmark just in case...

True, but then again, like I said, if I really wanted security, I'd do it myself. It's not hard to install an uploader script (eg: http://www.celerondude.com/php-uploader-v6 ), and access it via https.

William,

I see what your saying, but you have to think about it. The online sharing business is quite big, lots of competitors, but none with security like this. When I'm at school and need to send a large file back to me, and I don't have my flash drive, I need to use an online service. This is where SendItoMe comes in. Got to think about all situations :)

If I was that worried about security, I probably wouldn't upload a file onto a file host website in the first place.
